How do I fill out my professional Profile?

Suggestion/Solution Steps to adding your free profile to the professional directory.

1. Log into your account - just below the top left center click the "Sign In" link
2. In the top menu click on "My Account" Button
3. You should now see your account basic profile and another menu. click on the button that says "Add" under the Professional Profile menu. Dont worry about making a mistake you can always go back and change it.
4. Adding your photo - click on your View button under the Professional Profile menu. Now below the photo that says "No Photo" click on "add/edit photo" then click on "browse" select the picture you want to upload. Click on "Upload Photo" to complete. Some of the reasons the photo may not upload are photo is to big, photo is wrong file type or photo may have a virus.

I am continuously being routed back to the log in page after I put in my email address and password.

Suggestion/Solution

1. Please make sure that you enter in your entire email address (i.e. name@address.com) when logging in.
2. If you continue to get directed back to the Log In screen after attempting to log in with the correct email address and password, this may be a result of the security settings on your computer.
3. Make sure that your computer is set to accept cookies so that you may login to Investors Classifieds. To enable your cookies, you must first determine which browser type and version your computer is set on. Here are instructions on how to enable your cookies according to browser type and version:
4. Try to close the current browser and open a new one.

For Macintosh
Internet Explorer 5.1:

1. Go to Edit towards the top of the browser window.
2. Select Preferences.
3. Go to Receiving Files.
4. Click on Cookies.
5. Click the Accept Cookies button

* If this option is NOT available, go to the dropdown menu and click Ask for Each Site on the When Receiving Cookies pop-up menu.

For PC’s
Internet Explorer 5.5:

1. Go to "Tools"
2. Select "Internet Options"
3. Select the "Security" tab
4. Click on "Default Level" (it should be set at "Medium")
5. Make sure cookies are "Enabled"

Internet Explorer 6.0:

1. Go to "Tools"
2. Select "Internet Options"
3. Select the "Privacy" tab
4. Click on "Advanced"
5. Check the box "Override Automatic Cookie Handling" (make sure both First-Party and Third-Party cookies are set at Accept
6. Check the box "Always Allow Session Cookies"

Netscape 6.0 and above:

1. Go to "Edit" - "Preferences"
2. Select the "Advanced" tab
3. Confirm that all Java Script boxes are checked.
4. Select "Accept all cookies" or "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server"
5. Also check the box "Warn me before accepting cookies"

How do I Feature my Properties?

Suggestion/Solution Steps to your property featured.

• In the menu->properties to the left of your account click on "View" then click on "Feature this property" in relation to the property you want to feature. Follow the steps though Paypal (you do not need a paypal account). Your property will be featured the same business day.

How do I change my password?

Suggestion/Solution Steps to changing your password.

• If you have forgotten your password you will need to click here to get a new one.
• If you have a password or have a new password you can start here.

1. Log into your account. This will take you to your main profile page.
2. You should now see your account and a menu on the left of your profile. click on the button that says "Change Password" under the Personal Information menu.
3. Now type in your current password then your new password twice.Dont worry about making a mistake you can always go back and change it.
